I have received a number of letters and e-mails, asking me to attend a Westminster Hall debate on grouse shooting.
Government Ministers are only permitted to attend debates which directly to relate to their portfolio. As such, I will therefore be unable to attend the Westminster Hall debate on 31 October. However, I have noted your comments carefully.
I am aware of the e-petition referred to in your e-mail. However, I agree with the Government position on the matter. I understand that the Government has provided a comprehensive response to the petition. Please find the full response here: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/104441.
At the May 2015 General Election, David was re-elected as the Member of Parliament for Clwyd West, with an increased majority of 6,730.
